The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Warriors Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of personalities, and a gripping narrative including angels, fiends, and dark forces expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the main group to embark on their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (played by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by the DM, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might seem mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the party understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his debts and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the region and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the party reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This results in them little choice but to head to Timmony in search of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the other eight players to round up the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
